I was sneaky last night and it made Mama smile. I was supposed to be going to bed by myself. Mama was cleaning up the house. Mama heard a few bumps coming from my room and wondering if I had gotten out of bed. But she didn't check. A couple hours later when she was peaking at me she noticed my sneakiness: I had changed from my nightie to my fancy blue dress! I was in bed fast asleep wearing my fanciest dress. The one I wore to Rachel's bat mitzah. It's my foot dress (goes to my feet) and it's very fancy. And I slept in it all night!

Tavish has been very busy with adventures. First, he found some rice cake in the compost and started eating it. So Mama took it away from him and gave him new rice cake from the cupboard. It's his first time eating factory food! He walked all around, eating rice cake, and made a huge mess. But he liked the rice cake a lot. He also walks around carrying bowls of beans Mama gives him. Mama says tomorrow we're going to have Tav only eat in his high chair.
Tav also climbed up all the rungs to my swing-set fort outside! It's really high up and Mama had to supervise him. But he climbed all the way to the top and then climbed in the fort. Then he wanted to throw things down for fun.
Tav is sitting on his baby potty in the picture here. He's wearing his teething necklace and is about to throw a screwdriver at me. It's dangerous having a little brother! Today he threw a wood block at my head. I told Mama that I wanted to get rid of Tav. I didn't really mean it, but my head hurt and I was frustrated. I'm also pretty tired because I'm going to summer camp for the first time ever! I really like it, but I come home tired. Two of my friends are going too and I've made lots of new friends. I like everything but the tee shirt I have to wear every day. I don't like the color. And I don't like that I have to wear my shoes in the sand at the playground. I never wear shoes at the playground!
Happy Fourth of July to You!
Love, Dagny
