Beach weekend

Snuck away for a beach weekend.  We were just going for the day but Dad thought we should go for the night too.  So we woke up really close to the beach and spent the morning building sand castles.  Afterwards we drove further to Santa Barbara and explored there.  It was a really fun weekend.

This is what we call a "Buddy Party"

I am big buddy and Chauncey is little buddy.  Sissy was at school and sometimes she can be part of the buddy party but she's not really a buddy.  But Chauncey and I are buddies and we play together a lot.  Here we are having a buddy party and mom took a picture.

A great time with Jenni

Jenni our babysitter came home from college.  We saw her almost every day.  She's kind of like a big sister to us.  At the end of break we didn't want her to leave.  But here's a picture of us cracking up with Jenni.

Mama cleaning fish

Our neighbors gave us 10 fresh fish they had just caught.  Mama got to clean them all.  I sat next to her and watched (I even took this picture).  She said that next time I'm going to scale them.  It looks a little gross but I think I'll try.

The best new game ever!  It's a snowboard ramp, hotel and swimming pool for Lego people.  We did it with our friend Alekos.

Mom's Trip to New York

Mama and Chauncey went to New York for the weekend and Tavi and I stayed home with Dad.  It was a pretty fun weekend but we missed Mama.  Dad made it really fun because we bought our Christmas tree and decorated it and went out for pizza.  We were pretty happy when Mama came home and we could show her the tree!

Santa came to visit

Santa came to visit on our street.  It was really exciting.  We had been waiting for hours.  And yelling and stirring up a ruckus in the neighborhood because we were so excited.  Our excitement started several hours before the sleigh came.  Santa asked what we wanted for Christmas.  We didn't really know.  I said new ice skates because my old ice skates might not fit any more.  Tavish said he would like a candy cane.  Chauncey was asleep on Mama and can't even talk.

Harvey & Janet came to visit for Thanksgiving.  And we have a new couch just in time for hanging out and reading books after going to the book store.

We really love Thanksgiving

I think it's one of our favorite holidays.  Probably because we cook, eat and play!

I guess I really love both my brothers.  But I've been spending a lot of time saying I love my baby brother.  I do this to leave out Tavi.  I'm not sure if he notices or not.  But Mama doesn't like it.
